Hispanic Heritage Month & Estrella Awards

hispanic heritage month & estrella awards

celebrating the people and culture

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 – October 15 and traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans. The Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting Latinx leaders from our local community through our website and social media. At the end of the month, CWHCC puts together a video of all those who were celebrated as seen in the video below.

We will be tying our Hispanic Heritage Month Highlights with our Estrella Awards on October 20. Those community members being highlighted will be the ones being considered for an ESTRELLA award, our most prestigious award. Questions? Email us at

Thank you sponsors

Our Estrella Awards was held on Friday, October 15 at the Valley Mall in the upstairs area. All Hispanic Heritage Month leaders that were highlighted were invited to join us on this night to celebrate each other’s accomplishments.

We’d like to give a big THANK YOU to all of our sponsors that helped make this event possible.
